Transcription
Our transcriptionists use modern transcription tools to ensure accuracy and increased efficiency. Flipsu Health has a team of certified medical transcription (CMT) professionals with more than 15 years of experience.

Editing
The editor reviews the transcription for accuracy and completeness. This editing process includes listening to the audio file and reading through the transcribed text. Any corrections that the editor sees necessary are implemented to the transcribed text.

Approval
Editor’s changes are reviewed by the senior transcriptionist. If there are any conflicts, a third resource is brought in (generally, an industry expert) to ensure transcription quality.

Project Management
Each project has an assigned project manager who monitors the entire process and ensures that the transcription quality assurance steps are followed and documented according to our guidelines.

2- Next-Morning Turnaround Time

Regular Service
With our shifts running round the clock, we are able to offer our clients next morning turn around time (i.e. files uploaded by the evening will be available the next morning).

STAT Service
We also offer STAT (or Rush) service during business hours. The files uploaded are transcribed and made available within a 4-hour period.

3- Competitive Rate

We offer very competitive rates to our customers. The rates vary depending on the volume and the turnaround time.

– For phone dictations, we offer per minute dictation rate.
– For audio file dictations, we offer an hourly rate or a per line rate.
– For STAT service, rates are industry competitive as well.

4- PIPEDA / HIPAA Compliance

Every effort is made within our organization to ensure PIPEDA / HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy are followed. We operate on a secure Intranet with user specific passwords, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) via https transport, and 128-bit encryption of all audio and text files. Software used is PIPEDA/HIPAA compliant and supports requirements of HCFA internet use.
